Brightline Expands High-Speed Mobility Across Florida

Brightline is a privately owned passenger rail service connecting Orlando International Airport with the Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Aventura, and West Palm Beach regions. The project represents the first time that high-speed train service will be available in the state in decades.

Trains reach up to 125 mph (200 km/h) on specific sections, cutting travel time between Orlando and Miami to about 3–3.5 hours. Because the line avoids highway congestion, passengers save time and enjoy a smoother journey compared with driving along I-95.

Tickets on all routes can be acquired easily from the Brightline official website or from kiosks. Passengers can purchase either Smart or Premium tickets. The fares can also be flexible depending on the time of travel.

The Orlando terminal is integrated into the airport’s Terminal C, offering a seamless transfer between air and rail. This intermodal setup attracts both business and leisure passengers seeking predictable schedules and urban convenience.

Brightline Offers Two Classes and Future Expansion Plans

Brightline operates two classes of service–Premium and Smart, both of which provide Wi-Fi connectivity, broad seats, and clean passenger interiors. However, Premium service users get access to the train’s lounge, food, as well as drink options in specific stations.
