More than 3,000 container trains are planned to be sent from China in transit through Kazakhstan

KTZ Express (a subsidiary of Kazakhstan Railways) and the Chinese company Yuxinou (Chongqing) Logistics have signed an agreement to organize and dispatch 200 container trains in transit through Kazakhstan, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
The expected volume of container transportation is over 20,000 TEUs.
In early 2024, Kazakhstan Railways agreed with logistics platforms in Xian, Jiangsu, Beijing, Zhengzhou, and Chongqing to transit 3,500 container trains through Kazakhstan, which amounts to around 350,000 TEUs.
