Bernmobil has offered to donate 11 Vevey trams (Be 4/8) to the city of Lviv, this is reported by the railway transport news portal, Railway Supply.

These trams, produced by ACMV/Düwag/ABB in 1989-90, include eight intended for commercial service and three for spare parts.

According to Railway Gazette, Swiss experts visited the Ukrainian city from October 9-11 to inspect the tracks and depots, which they believe are compatible with the trams from Bern.
