Six of eight subway lines restarted services at 05:30 today, and officials verified their reliability. Suriya personally rode the network, proving the infrastructure remains stable for commuters.

Yet, the Yellow and Pink Lines stay closed for now, because thorough inspections continue. The Minister emphasized that public well-being drives decisions, keeping these lines offline until approved.

During his review, Suriya traveled the MRT Blue Line and Purple Line to build trust. He inspected Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal, ensuring the system’s strength after the quake.

Initial checks revealed no damage to transport projects, and Suriya shared this positive update. Experts rigorously examined all structures, confirming their ability to withstand seismic stress.

However, fare hike worries emerged, so Suriya cautioned taxi operators against overcharging commuters. He urged people to report issues to hotline 1584 with photographic proof.

The Department of Land Transport will punish offenders swiftly, because fairness protects travelers. Suriya’s team promised to enforce strict laws to stop exploitation during this time.

Today, six lines run smoothly, and Suriya highlighted their full operation after detailed tests. The Yellow and Pink Lines still require final clearance, prioritizing commuter security above all.

Suriya’s active involvement included riding the network, because he aimed to lead by example. His efforts focused on rebuilding public confidence following the seismic event.
