30.07.2024
The Italian company Arsenale, specializing in premium-class hotels, has signed a contract with Egyptian National Railways to build a luxury cruise train called Guardian of the Nile, as reported by the company “NPO A.T.O.R.,” a leader in comprehensive supply for passenger carriages, electric trains, and socially oriented transport.
This Italian-made train is designed to transport tourists along Egypt’s key historical and cultural routes.
The train will consist of 15 carriages, including Deluxe, Suite, and Honor Suite classes, providing comfortable accommodation for 80 passengers.

The train will run routes from Cairo to Luxor, Aswan, and Abu Simbel, offering travelers the opportunity to enjoy the country’s unique landscapes and cultural landmarks.
The launch of this luxury vehicle is scheduled for 2027.
This project promises to significantly enhance Egypt’s tourism infrastructure and attract more guests who value comfort and high-quality service.
Arsenale is not limited to Egypt. The company is also actively developing projects in other countries, such as Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
In these countries, the launch of 35 trains is planned on routes from El-Fujairah to Abu Dhabi and from Qurayyat to Riyadh. The trains, to be introduced by 2025, will match the Egyptian Guardian of the Nile in terms of comfort and luxury.
In Uzbekistan, Arsenale is implementing a project to launch the luxury train Samarkand Express, which will begin operating on the Tashkent to Khiva route in 2026. The train will consist of 13-15 carriages with 38 compartments, accommodating around 76 passengers.
A distinctive feature of this project is the production of trains within Uzbekistan at the plants of JSC “Uzbekistan Railways,” which strengthens the local industrial base and creates additional jobs.
Arsenale’s initiatives in various countries underscore the company’s commitment to expanding the geography of its services and providing premium transport solutions.
These projects not only increase passenger comfort but also contribute to the infrastructure and economy of the partner countries.
