An unmanned monorail line with Alstom trains has opened in Bangkok

Four-car trains began operating on the 34.5 km “Pink” line with 30 stations last week in a trial mode at a speed of 80 km/h., this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
Alstom supplied 42 Innovia monorail trains (formerly owned by Bombardier) with the Cityflo 650 control system, switchgear, depot equipment, platform doors, communication systems, and power supply.

The rolling stock was manufactured at a joint facility in Nanjing, China, with CRRC.
Construction of the line began in late 2017, originally planned to open by June 2022, but due to the pandemic and project changes, the launch was delayed multiple times.
In June, the city also launched the “Yellow” monorail line with 30 four-car trains of the same platform.
Innovia monorail systems of three generations are operational in the USA, Brazil, and China, with new ones being built in Egypt and China.
