An order for Koncar KEV trams has been placed

The urban transport operator GPP Osijek in Croatia has ordered 10 low-floor trams from the Croatian company Koncar KEV, as reported by the railway portal Railway Supply.
The total contract value will be €25 million, of which €20 million will be allocated from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan for the period 2021–2026.

Koncar KEV will supply 10 low-floor three-section trams to the city of Osijek, each with a length of 20.8 meters and a capacity of 135 seats, including 35 seated.
The deliveries are planned to commence from March to September 2025.
Currently, GPP Osijek already operates 17 Tatra T3R.PV trams manufactured by the Czech company CKD. Additionally, a comprehensive modernization of the city’s tram network covering 23.5 kilometers began in July.
