Amtrak Big City Savings sale is now live, offering up to 30% off regularly priced adult Coach Class fares on trains travelling between Boston and Washington, DC.

To qualify for the Amtrak 30% off sale, bookings need to be made while the offer is open. That means purchasing by 09 January, with travel taking place between 20 January and 12 February 2026.

Example fares on the Boston to Washington DC route

Amtrak has highlighted sample one-way prices under the Big City Savings offer, including 56 USD for Baltimore to New York, 20 USD from Boston to Providence, and 70 USD for New Haven to Washington. The same sale is also noted by TravelPulse. These examples relate to Coach Class tickets available on the corridor.

Coach Class features and how to book

The deal applies to Amtrak coach class accommodation, with features such as wide, reclining seats, additional legroom, and no middle seating arrangements. Tickets are available now via the Amtrak website or via the operator’s app.
