The second locomotive features Dandelion yellow with Crayola’s mascot, Dan D., along with the slogan “Creativity on the Go!”—a campaign that blends travel and imagination.
Amtrak Offers Family Travel Deals and Creative Incentives
This partnership includes several offers to make summer travel easier for families.
Children ride free in Coach or First Class private rooms on the Amtrak Auto Train until August 31, 2025.
While the Auto Train runs between Lorton, Virginia, and Sanford, Florida, Boston-area families can connect via the Northeast Corridor to join the route.
In addition, kids with valid Amtrak tickets enjoy free admission to Crayola Experience attractions in Easton, PA; Orlando, FL; Plano, TX; and Mall of America, MN.
The admission offer applies to travel from May 8 to August 31, with redemption valid through September 30.
Families only need to show their Amtrak child ticket at the check-in counter to claim free entry.
Jessica Davidson, Amtrak’s Vice President of Digital and Brand Marketing, said the collaboration creates joyful moments for families nationwide.
Anna Roca, Crayola’s Head of Global Partnerships, noted the initiative brings color and fun to unexpected places.
This summer, Boston travelers can enjoy more than just transportation—each ride delivers a touch of creativity.
With colorful engines and added savings, the journey becomes part of the adventure itself.
