Alstom’s appeal against Pesa’s award for the supply of up to 29 trains has been rejected by the National Council for Complaints Review in Romania, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The country’s railway transport reform body, ARF, can now proceed to finalize the contract with Pesa.

Pesa’s victory in the second competition for the supply of 62 trains, against Alstom, was not contested.
