All updates were carried out at Alstom’s production site in Hennigsdorf, Germany, where they significantly improved the train’s interior. Technicians completely replaced the flooring, installed new handrails, and modernized the seat upholstery for enhanced passenger comfort. Special attention was given to passengers with limited mobility, equipping the train with dedicated wheelchair spaces.

Additionally, the train was fitted with modern luggage racks and baby-changing tables to enhance convenience. To improve lighting, LED lamps were installed in the cabin, creating a more pleasant atmosphere. The passenger information system was also updated to ensure easy and quick access to route information.
Major work was also done on the train’s front sections with driver’s cabins, including a full reconstruction. This improvement has enhanced corrosion protection, extending the lifespan of car bodies and doors across all train cars. New design and materials make the train more resistant to wear and climate changes, crucial for German railways.

The train is scheduled to begin operation on the Marschbahn line, covering 200 kilometers, in December. This route is considered one of the busiest, and the upgraded train promises effective performance under high passenger loads.

Alstom commits to completing the work within the set timeline so that the modernized trains can start service as soon as possible.

Through this modernization project, Alstom strengthens its position in the railway services market, demonstrating high-quality standards. In partnership with NAH.SH, the company shows its commitment to infrastructure development, which benefits passengers and ensures reliable transportation services.
