Alstom has merged its Polish divisions

Alstom has consolidated its Polish divisions into a single company named ALSTOM Polska, as reported by the railway portal Railway Supply.
This move has strengthened Alstom’s position in the Polish railway transportation market, where they offer a complete range of products, ranging from modern trains for high-speed, regional, and suburban routes to train traffic management systems.

Alstom has a long history in Poland, including the Pafawag, Konstal, and ZWUS plants that have contributed to the country’s railway industry.
These three companies, with over 4,000 employees combined, are now part of ALSTOM Polska and have branches in Warsaw, Chorzów, Katowice, and Wrocław.
Alstom’s activities have had a significant impact on the development of railway transportation in Poland, including the operation of locomotives, trains, including high-speed Pendolino trains, metro trains, and trams built by Alstom.
The company is also actively involved in projects to implement the European Train Control System (ETCS) Level 2 in Poland.
