Alstom has won a competition to supply electric locomotives to Romania

Romania’s Railway Reform Authority (ARF) announced Alstom as the winner of the competition to deliver 16 four-axle electric locomotives, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
The contract value is $168 million, and the project is funded through the national recovery and resilience plan.
The locomotives will be used for transporting trains of 16 passenger cars on domestic routes within the country.
