The train is equipped with 20 onboard screens displaying route information and 9 additional displays showing flight departure and arrival times — a valuable feature for airport travelers.

Alstom Coradia Stream and the FGC Contract

In 2022, Alstom signed a contract with the Catalan rail operator FGC to deliver and maintain ten trains over 15 years. The agreement is valued at €177 million (around $189 million).

The project aims to renew the region’s rolling stock and strengthen Catalonia’s modern rail connectivity. The introduction of the new Coradia Stream trains will enhance service reliability and expand transport capacity for both residents and visitors.

Ultimately, this delivery program contributes to the modernization of Catalonia’s transport system and the development of efficient suburban connections.
