A new tram line will appear in Kyiv

A new tram line will be built from Miloslavskaya Street to Darnytskyi Railway Station.
In Kyiv, by the end of 2023, the construction of a tram line from the metropolitan residential area Troyeshchyna to the Darnitsky railway station will be carried out. The corresponding tender is published in the Prozzoro system.
The utility company Kyivpasstrans plans to spend UAH 760 million on the implementation of this project, reports railway magazine Railway Supply.
Reconstruction and current repairs will be carried out on the tram line from Miloslavskaya Street to Darnitsky railway station. The old tram tracks are being dismantled, new rails and sleepers, a road surface with markings and signs, as well as new crossings will appear along the entire line.
Tender proposals are accepted until February 15. The auction will take place on March 23rd. All work must be completed by the end of 2023.
