From the dry port of Nanchang, located in Jiangxi Province in eastern China, a train carrying household appliances and sanitary products was dispatched to Central Asia, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

A freight train from Nanchang will travel to Central Asian countries

The train will pass through the border port of Khorgos to the capital of Tajikistan.

This will allow goods to be delivered 12 hours faster than if the train were to pass through the Alatau Pass in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

The new route traverses all five Central Asian countries.
