Approximately 400 highly skilled Alstom employees in Canada are working to ensure the flawless execution of the contract by early 2025.
In addition to trams, Alstom has supplied 480 Toronto Rocket subway cars for the TTC and provided a communication-based train control (CBTC) solution for rail signaling on the Yonge–University line and the Toronto-York Spadina extension.
With over 5,000 Flexity LRVs ordered globally, they are recognized for their seamless operation, spacious interior, wide doors, air conditioning, enhanced features for passengers with limited mobility, and improved passenger information, all contributing to a more comfortable and convenient travel experience.
