InnoTrans Asia 2027 is already drawing exhibitor commitments ahead of its first edition. Companies from 30 countries have signed up. About one third of the available exhibition area is already reserved. This is roughly 18 months before the event. This is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The new trade fair is scheduled for Singapore Expo from 7 to 9 September 2027. According to Railway-News, Messe Berlin is organising it as an Asia-focused counterpart to InnoTrans. InnoTrans is the established Berlin event. Organisers present the early reservations as a sign of Asia-Pacific mobility sector interest.

For example, confirmed exhibitors include Continental, HARTING Singapore Pte Ltd, Vossloh AG and Bozankaya. Also, national pavilions are expected from Japan, Spain, Australia and Switzerland. Together, these plans add to the event’s international profile.

InnoTrans Asia 2027 pavilions and exhibitors

German companies will be able to join a joint pavilion. It is backed by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy together with AUMA. The format is intended to give firms a structured route into Asian markets. In addition, it is meant to support new business contacts. Separately, Berlin and Brandenburg authorities are also working on a shared pavilion.

Public transport will be one of the main areas of focus in Singapore. Also, the programme will include a dedicated BUS2BUS Zone. It follows the concept’s introduction at BUS2BUS in Berlin. At that event, InnoTrans Asia was presented to industry visitors for the first time. According to the organisers, the theme reflects regional demand for bus-based transport. It also reflects demand for integrated mobility solutions.

Kai Mangelberger, Head of the Mobility Division at Messe Berlin, said:
We are delighted with the extremely promising start of InnoTrans Asia. A good six months after signing the contract in Singapore and, not least, now at BUS2BUS in Berlin, we are sensing great interest from both established and new partners. Having so many exhibitors on board at such an early stage is generating great anticipation for the coming months.

Public transport systems and event scope

Meanwhile, Messe Berlin plans to continue promoting InnoTrans Asia during the next InnoTrans in Berlin. That event is scheduled for 22 to 25 September 2026. A Singapore-based team will explain the exhibition, participation options and early registration rates.

Separately, the Singapore event will cover railway technology, infrastructure, interiors and tunnel construction. Also, it will cover public transport systems. In addition, Messe Berlin’s trade fair activities span more than 200 years. The company manages the project within its wider international expansion in the mobility sector.
