The Brno Public Transport Company has ordered an additional 15 Škoda ForCity Smart 45T trams as part of a contract to further modernize the city’s transportation system, with a total value of 1.125 billion Czech crowns, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

With spacious interiors, low-floor design, and a capacity of 233 passengers, the 45T trams are intended to replace outdated models from the 1980s and 1990s.

They feature ample multifunctional spaces for wheelchairs, strollers, and bicycles, as well as air conditioning and a modern information system to ensure a comfortable ride for all.
