102 new intermodal wagons for Mercitalia Logistics

Since July of this year, Ermewa has supplied 102 new intermodal wagons to Mercitalia Logistics, a subsidiary of the Italian State Railways, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Ermewa and Mercitalia Logistics (Gruppo FS Italiane) are strengthening their collaboration through a long-term leasing agreement.

Ermewa has delivered 102 brand-new intermodal wagons to Mercitalia Logistics, a subsidiary of the Italian State Railways, since July of this year.

Tatravagonka manufactured 4-axle intermodal wagons of the Sgmmnss 40′ type in Poprad, Slovakia, suitable for ISO 20′, 30′, and 40′ containers, as well as swap bodies.

With a network of 18 offices across Europe, Ermewa offers industrial companies, railway operators, and forwarders a range of more than 120 different wagon types.

The company has been an ECM (Entity in Charge of Maintenance) certified entity since 2010.
