Laude is considering bringing containers into Ukraine with its own locomotives

The Polish intermodal transport operator, Laude Smart Intermodal, will continue ordering containers and platforms for their transportation in 2024, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
The carrier intends to further develop private traction in Poland with the possibility of extending operations into Germany, the Netherlands, and Ukraine using 1435 mm gauge railway tracks.

Plans for 2024 include developing a project for transporting sea-line containers, with the possibility of contracting with sea lines to establish depots for storage and transshipment of sea-line containers within the EU, closer to the Ukrainian border at the terminal in Zamość.
As reported earlier, in 2023 Laude transported 89.3 thousand TEUs.
