Head of the Ministry of Transport: sanctions broke all logistics in Russia
22.05.2022
Transport Minister Vitaly Savelyev announced serious problems with logistics in Russia in connection with the sanctions.
“Those sanctions that were imposed today on the Russian Federation practically broke all the logistics in our country. And we are forced to look for new logistics corridors,” Interfax quotes him.
Earlier, Savelyev spoke about the problems of the aviation industry in connection with the sanctions, reports the railway magazine Railway Supply.
In particular, he said that to give away leased aircraft “means leaving itself without aviation,” but warned that these aircraft would never again be able to fly to countries that implement sanctions, “due to the fact that we took someone else’s property”.
