The development of multimodal transport corridors and digitalization of transit and border crossing procedures are crucial elements of sustainable connectivity for landlocked developing countries.


The State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan together with Camco Technologies organized a workshop on how the use of vision-based technology and artificial intelligence can create streamlined and efficient processes to facilitate the exchange of safe and legitimate goods on the East West corridor.
The workshop was attended by Deputy Chairman Mr. Ilkhom Mukhtorov and several experts of the customs administrations of Uzbekistan.
On the program will be a field visit to the Uzbek-Kazakh customs and border checkpoint “Yallama” and the rail border checkpoint “Chukursoy” in the Tashkent region.
