On November 8, during a meeting of the Export Office at Ukrzaliznytsia, it was announced that for 10 months of 2022, 129.9 million tons of cargo were transported by Ukrainian railways. Compared to the same period last year, this is 128.6 million tons less, reports Railway Supply magazine with reference to Rail.insider.

According to operational data, 51.3 million tons of cargo were transported for export in 10 months. This is 39.8 million tons or 43.7% less than in the same period in 2021. In total, the share of exports in total traffic is 39.5%. In recent months, grain cargoes have taken the first place in the structure of export transportation.

As previously reported in the news, the Ukrainian railway transported more than 12 million tons of cargo in October.
