The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has determined the winner of the tender for the supply of 11 metro trains in a 4-car configuration.
Pilsen, 21 December 2021 – The Polish capital is looking forward to new metro trains manufactured in the Czech Republic. Today the manufacturer - the Škoda Transportation group - officially unveiled the first complete train.
The new smart subway train was unveiled in Hangzhou, the site of the 2022 Asian Games. This is reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to the CRRC.
The project will be implemented by Kyiv Metro and Kyivpastrans. In November, the European Investment Bank approved a 100 million euro loan to Kyiv to purchase public electric vehicles, including trolleybuses and subway cars.

The second metro line, 21 km long, will consist of 23 stations. The French company Egis Rail has signed an agreement with the government of Belgrade to design a second metro line in the Serbian capital.
