Cross-border route between Mexico, USA and Canada

Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railroad (CPKC), formed from the merger of North American First Class Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern, and Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings signed a long-term agreement on April 25, 2023 to provide freight service on the CPKC-controlled single track corridor north-south, passing through Mexico, the United States and Canada. Thus, the railway infrastructure and CPKC terminals, including in cross-border traffic, will be used from mid-May 2023 to serve Knight-Swift’s customer base in Mexico. CPKC noted that they intend to focus on the growth of traffic volumes on the route between Chicago, Texas and Mexico.
Knight-Swift is one of the largest transport and logistics solution providers in North America.
